Bad Timing

There's a local public affairs radio show, News Matters, that I sometimes sit in on as the last-minute-oh-my-god-we-need-a-seat-filled guest. Mostly it's local reporters and editors. Anyway, it tapes late Wednesday afternoon and plays on air Thursdays, 3:30 p.m., on the local public radio station. Tune in if you have the time.

We discussed a few topics including, briefly, the local daily paper's disappearing comments section. I agreed the anonymous comments needed to go but said the paper needed to be more upfront about why the comments suddenly disappeared. And then, in this morning's paper, there's this (to the left). Talk about bad timing on my part, as the radio show airs later today.
