Too Much Porn?

Can there ever be too much porn?

Well, yeah -- when it comes to journalists tacking porn onto any number of other words.  Here are some I came up with searching news sites:

• geology porn -- By Scientific American, of all people
• ski porn -- Used by Westword
• involuntary porn -- really want to spent more time on this one
• food porn -- used everywhere.  For more, see Food Network
• democracy porn -- I honestly don't get this one
• election porn -- I honestly do get this one after 2012
• storm porn -- ya know, Weather Channel style

You get the idea. Think of it as the -gate effect, remove the Water, tack something to the front to make a new, pseudo-clever word.  Or you can just have Porngate.
