Boo!
Of course it's Halloween -- that explains the weird decorations, the sudden prominence of pumpkins, the bags of candy in my pantry, most of them opened and eagerly sampled.
About 34 percent of Americans say they believe in the existence of ghosts. Twenty-three percent say they've been in a ghost's presence.
Then again, 5 percent have seen a monster in their closet.
